    Criticism
Criticism is permissible, as long as it remains objective and does not contain any contents that may damage the business. Subjective criticism that only serves to degrade the person in question (abusive criticism) or injures in a defamatory or depreciative way or contains other illegal contents, is not permitted. You have the possibility, to activate or deactivate the visibility of the personal data of your membership profile. The basic setting for all data is “visible”.

That means: You may not provide information in the signature or avatar that advertises commercial entities or competing websites. Links to private web sites are permitted as long as they are not overtly commercial or promotional in nature. Any signature or avatar clearly offensive or pornographic in materials will be removed immediately at management’s discretion. No other type of BB code may be used only links.

We expressly require system suppliers and manufacturers, to reveal themselves by a clear signature and to act NOT with anonymous user accounts.

  6. Using the forums

While these discussion forums encourage a wide range of opinions, please keep your posts focused on the topic of the forum in which you are submitting your message. Each forum has a different topic, so what is appropriate in one forum or thread may not be appropriate in another.

Do not discuss problems that you may have against a particular company's way of conducting business and or other issues that may be better dealt with them directly and in a way, that is not accessible to the public. Here, we are considering (not exclusively) e.g. ongoing legal proceedings. Direct support forums are to discuss questions or issues with the particular product they sell or support. No discussion in a political, religious or sexual orientation will be allowed to be discussed.

    THREAD TITLES:
Thread titles must reflect the full content and be fair to any person or vendor where things have been resolved. Please update the thread title by either adding the word RESOLVED to the title or re-wording the title to better reflect the situation.

    DOUBLE POSTING:
Please do not double post the same topic in multiple forum sections. We will delete these posts, as soon as we recognize them.

    SPAMMING:
Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly in one or multiple forums, is prohibited. Spamming will also be defined as posting advertisements in the general discussion forums for products for sale in the swap shop.

    POSTING IMAGES:
Forum members are allowed to embed images in their messages by linking to an image that exists on another site or downloading it from their computers hard drive. In addition to the copyright restrictions mentioned hereafter, users should also refrain from embedding any images of a sexual or offensive nature. Any links to clearly offensive or pornographic materials will be removed immediately at the forum operators´ discretion.

    POSTING LINKS:
In compliance with all other points of these guidelines, our policy on linking to other web sites is pretty simple. Members may link to any other site that provides information that helps answer another members question or is just of general interest to members of that particular forum. One of the most basic tenets of the Web is the open exchange of information, and the forum operators wholeheartedly support this type of exchange.

The only type of linking (besides porn and spam, of course) that will not be allowed on our site is when members solicit people to leave our sites and join a competing service and / or require a free or non-free registration. That's just common sense. However, people are always welcome to link to any on-line resource, whether it's on our site or any other site, in order to share useful information with fellow members.

    POSTING VIDEOS:
It is allowed to post videos, if these are in compliance with all other points of these guidelines. If not, we will delete any videos without explanation as we see fit.
