    First post. How is this possible?

    Hi.
    My first question here on the forum came to mind when I was looking at some Denon MM series headphones in the shop.
    How it is possible to make these complex aluminum parts and price the final product so cheap? Are the parts machined of aluminum in a 5 axis cnc? How large production count do you need to make this possible? Do you think Denon making these parts in house?
    The Denon MM200 is priced around 180USD.

    The tolerance is pretty huge for most parts of that assembly. Are you sure there are machined parts in there? Couldn't it be drop forged in bulk?
