Whether you want to give HFC milling a good throttle or achieve good surface finishes: ARNO's FD milling system is your solution. With a nickel-plated and thus durable basic holder for corner milling and HFC inserts, you are equipped for both and thus save tool carrier costs and storage space. Integrated cooling, Torx Plus® screws and unequal pitch of the cutting edges also ensure minimal vibration, long tool life and convenient handling.
For the indexable inserts, you have the choice between sizes 10 and 15. While the smaller insert achieves high surface qualities thanks to a large face chamfer, the 15-insert insert is particularly stable and thus ideal for roughing. For absolute flexibility, there are three geometries for HFC milling and four for corner milling, each in 11 grades for perfect adaptation to the respective applications. The precision-engineered, positive chip grooves of the inserts guarantee a smooth cut. And with the peripherally ground and polished PMA geometry, you can also optimally machine aluminum and non-ferrous metals.
