Advic®

Advic® stands for "Advanced Vision Check". Advic® Sheet is used to perform automated inspection of flat metal products, such as stamped parts with different shapes and profiles, for surface defects, flatness, dimensional accuracy and hardness. We will gladly provide you with information on typical parameters and framework conditions of these systems upon request. Surface inspection of flat parts, such as stamped sheet metal parts, for scratches, blows, striations, dirt, etc. is faster and more reliable with Advic® than was previously possible. Unit costs are reduced, and quality is demonstrably increased at the same time. These are key competitive factors for stamped parts in particular. Naturally the system itself is designed for 3-shift operation. Defective stamped parts are classified automatically and reliably placed into separated boxes. Separation of the defective parts is monitored. Operation of the inspection system is extremely user-friendly. Changeover when switching from one model to another is fully automated and can be performed within seconds by making an entry on the keyboard. Inspection and threshold values for surface defects, geometry and flatness of the stamped parts can be defined and modified individually. Advic® compensates automatically for differences in colour between lots. Our experts will be happy to tell you more. Millions of parts are inspected with Advic® around the world each year. Inspection of 100% of the products at the production cycle time.

Flatness inspection using the laser light section method allows for accurate, fast and cost-effective testing of flat parts for flatness. Both the cycle time and measuring accuracy values achieved this way are unachievable with other methods. In comparison to flatness inspection with mechanical drop gauges still commonly used today, our innovative flatness inspection system offers numerous key benefits: - Maximum precision: Flatness deviations of stamped parts can have specified tolerances as low as 0.1 mm. The laser light section flatness inspection sets new standards in this regard with reliable, verifiable precision. - Contactless flatness inspection: Unlike drop gauges, this method of inspecting stamped parts for flatness is contactless. Damage such as nicks or scratches which can be created during mechanical flatness inspections are thus reliably avoided. - Process reliability: Mechanical flatness inspection is often prone to interference and causes expensive downtime. Our laser light section inspection measures the parts directly in the process and thus completely precludes any interference. - Low costs: The system can be integrated into your existing infrastructure quickly and easily. Transporting the parts to and from the location is eliminated, since exact measuring can be performed directly in the process. - High throughput: We would be happy to inform you personally about the unrivalled high speed and throughput values which can be achieved by flatness inspection using laser capture. Talk to our experts. Several laser lines are projected onto the part to be inspected - for which flatness is critical - while it is transported past the measuring station. Two cameras record these lines. The image processing software almost instantaneously converts the line tracks into precise flatness values over the entire surface of the test part. The exposure time is reduced by using multiple lines, making the system immune to vibrations of the part on the conveyor.
