Efficient and energy-saving: packaging solutions with PC-based Control
At FachPack 2018 Beckhoff will exhibit the next development step in packaging with the XTS eXtended Transport System. The XTS implements flexible changes of format in a few seconds with a minimum of components. At the same time the consumption of resources and energy is optimised and the machine footprint is reduced. As a special highlight, Beckhoff will present the hygienic variant of the XTS: made completely of stainless steel for particularly demanding packaging applications.

System-integrated IoT connection optimises cloud useThe series of ultra-compact Industrial PCs is usable for universal automation, visualisation and communication tasks. The C6015 offers sufficient computing power for use as an IoT Edge device: from collecting, processing and providing process data to the more complex tasks of an IoT gateway. With the C6017 a larger number of interfaces and an integrated UPS are available. As a software tool TwinCAT IoT supports all popular standards such as OPC UA, MQTT or AMQP and thus enables secure communication with the cloud. |
