Modular, scalable, space-saving: PC-based control - Beckhoff at Tire Technology Expo 2019

Increases the competitiveness of your machine: PC- and cloud-based control

With the development of modular control solutions and components that offer maximum performance in a compact design, Beckhoff creates the conditions required for flexible, cost-efficient and spacesaving automation solutions in the tyre and rubber industry. The AMP8000 distributed Servo Drive system thus opens up new ways of implementing modular machine concepts. Through the relocation of the power electronics to the machine, the space requirement inside the control cabinet and thus the machine footprint are reduced. The new generation of Beckhoff safety controllers is based consistently on modularity and scalability and thus enables optimal adaptation to the specific safety requirements of individual machine concepts. A further highlight at the Beckhoff trade show booth is the systemintegrated cloud connection: Learn how you can use cloud services simply and securely for your machine.

The Beckhoff team is looking forward to your visit in hall 20, booth 3030!

System integrated: modular components for a simple cloud connection

Increase the competitiveness of your machines with a systemintegrated cloud solution. Beckhoff offers all the components required for the direct use of cloud-based services: from powerful Industrial PCs and IoT couplers to the corresponding TwinCAT IoT and TwinCAT Analytics software modules.

Space requirement reduced: the AMP8000 distributed Servo Drive system

Space requirement reduced: the AMP8000 distributed Servo Drive system

The AMP8000 distributed Servo Drive system integrates the servo drive directly into the servomotor, thereby opening up new avenues for modular machine concepts. By shifting the power electronics directly to the machine, the space requirement in the control cabinet is reduced to a single coupling module that supplies several servo drives with just one cable via a distribution module.

Cabling expenditure halved: EtherCAT P

Cabling expenditure halved: EtherCAT P

EtherCAT P integrates the EtherCAT communication as well as the system and peripheral voltage in one cable and enables power supply forwarding directly via the devices. The combination of high EtherCAT performance and flexible EtherCAT topology make the single-cable solution the optimum bus system for sensors, actuators and measurement technology: Material and assembly costs are reduced and the mounting space is minimised in drag chains, control cabinets and the machine.

Highly scalable, highly modular: TwinSAFE

The new generation of Beckhoff safety controllers is based consistently on modularity and scalability and thus enables optimal adaptation to the specific safety requirements of individual machine concepts. The intelligence of the entire safety application can be distributed via the TwinSAFE Logic-capable, safetyrelevant I/O modules. Even more efficient modularisation and more flexible adaptability to existing system requirements are thus possible.

Precisely scalable: highly dynamic drive systems

At Tire Technology Expo, Beckhoff is exhibiting highly scalable motion solutions that are tailored precisely to the respective requirement in terms of performance and cost: starting from compact drive technology with a direct motor connection in the I/O system through to the AX8000 multi-axis servo system.
