Oil pressure head

For deep drilling according to the BTA system, BTA-Tiefbohrsysteme offer a range of different BOZA. The oil pressure head has four main functions: - Supply of the cooling lubricant to the tool - Sealing of the workpiece - Centering and holding the required guide bush - Sealing of the drill pipe The different BOZA types are designed to fulfil these functions according to the requirements of the machine. This applies both to the workpiece clamping and to the machining method. For example, rotation-symmetric workpieces can be machined with only a rotating tool, only a rotating workpiece or both rotating in reverse.
