Eckelmann was founded in 1977, a pioneering time for automation. At that time, the potential of microprocessors for industrial production was discovered. From this founding scene, Eckelmann AG has built up a broad range of services and an extensive portfolio of automation solutions in over forty years.

Through continuous growth as well as investments, the engineering office of the founder Dr. Gerd Eckelmann has become a large medium-sized system partner for automation and digitalization. Today, the Eckelmann Group with Eckelmann AG as parent company is represented at seven locations in Europe and China.
