Have any of you ever had problems with the TSC rotary coupling? I've lost 2 in the last 7 years on my SuperSpeed VM-3 (12k max spindle speed). I talked to another local shop who has several and they see about the same thing in their shop. A few years ago, we dissected a failed unit, figured out who made it, and discovered the unit that we keep installing is only good for about 10k rpm. They had a 15k capable unit for about 1/3 the price Haas charges. I saved the info, or so I thought, so I could upgrade when the next unit went out. Now, several years later, I can't for the life of me locate the info I found and the TSC rotary coupling is beginning to make a little noise again. Does anyone know who the 3rd party that mfgs the coupling is?
