I hope I am in the right forum. This is my first post. I have an Amada Vipros 345 with a 04-pc control. The machine has been disconnected for a week and the back-up batteries in the control were dead. I think I lost the parameters. I saved the parameters on my server but I don't now the procedure for reloading them. Can anyone help???

you can either type them in by hand, or just manually type in the parameters for rs232 communications then load the parameters in from your saved file.
you should have 2 files. one is regular parameters, the other is diagnostic(PMC) parameters.

Type in parameters 0000-0005 and 300-304. Then change 341/342 to what the parameters you have say they should be. Same for parameters 310-312. Then input via RS-232 by going to parameter page, in EDIT mode, press far right key, type in P-9999, then READ.

For the PMC parameters, type P-9999, far right soft key, and READ.

04PC is not a standard Fanuc 0, its different. the manual I linked has all of that info explained in detail step by step and a lot more.......

I'm aware it's different. The parameter numbers I provided are 100% correct. That document is just lengthy. Was trying to assist in a more concise manner.

Thanks, but I have got the parameters. The problem we are facing now is that while repositioning the holding down clamps won't come down. I tried to investigate and when we manually override the solenoid valve, the machine starts working, or we have to switch off the machine for half n hour to make it work again. Does the solenoid valve is faulty or there is something else we can look for ??
