I just received my new 100w laser engraver-cutter from China, been tinkering with it for a couple weeks getting it dialed in and also learning the new lasercut 5.3 software. This is not my first large scale laser engraver but was a fraction of the cost of my old cnc laser we bought 10 years ago. So far I'm impressed with the quality bang for buck but would have preferred AC servos over steppers. With this machine if you move off your starting position after doing work you can't find that beginning again. Also I haven't figured out how to change the jog speeds. It has a 6525 motion control in it which is totally different than my wincnc which I've grown use to over the years. Here are some picture of the machine and the first work I've done with it, I do laser etched memorials.
The quality of the image is not because of the machine, the picture was taken in 1944 and poor condition.
