    no softkey option for inserting characters

    how can i activate/insert characters like parantheses for giving name to a program? I am having two cnc turning with fanuc oimate td.One control shows softkey option CHA-EXT while the other doesn't.Is there any parameter to activate?

    Yes, it requires a parameter setting. Read the attachment for details.
