    Screen Goes Blank Momentarily....

    I just installed the tormach external contactor for my larger coolant pump and now when pathpilot turns off the coolant the screen goes black for a few seconds. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

    Hi - I get something similar. When I click cycle start and the spindle on system kicks in, sometimes my screen goes black for a few seconds.

    It seems to be only the monitor, it has happened 20 or so times in recent months, but as far as I can see it has never affected the programme - it does freak me out though.

    Sorry I don't know what is wrong either. keen

    Probably noise coupled into the monitor cable confusing DDC or something
    Is there a contact arc suppressor on your contactor/pump?

    I have the contactor kit from Tormach, it has some kind of noise thingy in it that I wired in.
