The project to realise an autonomous mobile robot capable of moving even heavy tools with extreme precision from one machine to another involved the use of a FANUC M-20 robot. The robot is as precise as required, the integrated 3D vision system compensates for the margin of error in shuttle positioning, and the compact R-30iB Mate controller allows easy installation on board the AGV.
