Even more flexible manual and CNC machining The extremely versatile FEHLMANN PICOMAX 56 TOP is now also available with an extended 800 mm X travel. The universal milling and drilling machine offers more versatility than ever before. Extra-long workpieces can be machined in a single step without repositioning, saving both time and costs. Even long rows of holes can be machined easily and efficiently with the FEHLMANN PICOMAX 56 L TOP.
Thanks to the enlarged clamping surface (up to 1400 mm x 480 mm) of the FEHLMANN PICOMAX 56 TOP, up to four fixtures can now be mounted at the same time. Operators can machine multiple parts without interruption and perform several operations without set-up changes. More possibilities are available for 4-axis machining with a dividing unit. Thanks to the increased distance between the dividing unit and tail stock, longer workpieces can also be machined efficiently.

The mill version, optimal also for training, has 3 manual wheels and basic functions for conventional milling, drilling and threading.
This milling machine is specially optimized for simple conventional milling work and thus allows an optimal introduction to modern machining technology. It is operated like a fully-fledged conventional milling and drilling machine, without any programming knowledge.
This machine 'Made in Switzerland' already offers in the basic version various features of a modern, powerful milling machine, such as: fully digital CNC Heidenhain control TNC 620, a FEHLMANN own, fluid-cooled and high-torque motor spindle for universal milling up to 12'000 rpm as well as Z/S-interpolated thread cutting, 3D milling, boring, etc.
In addition, the combination of manual and CNC milling machine PICOMAX 56 mill can be expanded with further practical machine options: for example, with a FEHLMANN dividing head for 4-axis work, an automatic tool changer with 20 or 30 places and much more.
