The LASER World of PHOTONICS trade show must also be postponed due to the Corona pandemic. The original date in June 2021 cannot be met and the event will take place from April 26 to 29, 2022. The accompanying scientific congress, World of Photonics, will be held in a digital format from June 20-24, 2021.

The reason for postponing the show is found in existing travel restrictions as well as the unclear Corona situation with mutations of the virus spreading. The decisive factor in the decision, which was made by Messe München in close consultation with exhibitors and advisory boards, was, among other things, the high internationality of the event. Many exhibitors and visitors naturally come from large parts of the world and other continents. According to Messe München, LASER World of PHOTONICS, as the world's leading trade fair for photonics components, systems and applications, cannot be reproduced as a virtual event.
