Hi, is anybody using an Accutex machine on here? The place I work for is looking at a SP-300ia wire, and an Agiecharmilles Cut 20P. I ran wires for years, but mostly Sodicks, and haven't run one in about 10 years.
Thanks!

Hey,
try to get a good offer for a Agiecharmilles Cut 300. Don´t take the Cut 20P if you want to be happy.
Get offers from Sodick,Mitsubishi or Makino maybe.
I never used Accutex, have no experience of them.
Be sure what kind of accuracy and applications do you need.
I'm doing mostly form tools for screw machines, cutting T-15 HSS or carbide brazed to a 4140 steel body, usually 1.5"-2.5" thick. We will be doing some tapering for clearance on carbide inserts, which are between .25-.063 thick.
We have 2 AccuteX machines. We bought an AU-500i new in October of 2007, and an SP-MED April of 2011. I have been the sole operator of both of them since purchasing. They have both been pretty trouble free machines.
At a previous job, I ran a Mits FX-10K. I prefer our AccuteX machines. I can't compare them to Agie or Sodick because I've never used either.
Let me know if you have any specific questions. I'll try to help you out.

HAHA ,you can find me,i run Accutex 6years.
