I want to cut an aluminum guitar fretboard (with an aluminum bar 47.6 cm long and 5 mm thick, lengthwise, so as to form an isosceles trapezium with a longer base of 5.8 cm and a shorter base of 4.2, an acute angle at the greater base of 89.04 degrees and an obtuse angle at the lesser base of 90.96.).
My question is whether it is possible to self-build guides for cutting with a hand saw.
I was thinking of fixing 4 bars with screw clamps (2 above and two below the piece to be cut), would this work?
