    Bluing Linear Rails??

I was thinking of ways to protect my Hiwin linear rails and bluing came to mind. Is there any reason I shouldn't blue my rails? On that note what about my ball screws? Thanks!

    What benefit would you get?
They're already hardened. They need lubrication--this and a dust cover will take care of oxidation.

    Same with the ball screws.
These are precision designed and made items. Don't mess them up.
