Sad (being a Ford fan) that the only patterns we can find are the Chevy patterns.

I'm looking for the Ford small block and the Buick/Rover aluminum V8 patterns.

Add me to the list of those looking for bell housing patterns.

    UPDATE!

Yesterday I put the measurements for the small block in AutoCad.

Now that I looked at the pictures of the 60 degree V6, small block and the big block V8 blueprints, they are showing the exact same measurements as the small block (the measurement were in a different order so they are not the same prints recopied).

Of the pictures that I have downloaded, were they mistakenly showing the small block rear prints mislabeled as the V6 and Big Block V8?

If so, I would like to get a copy of the Big Block V8 as well.

I will make a note of posting any others that I find here as well.

The 90° V6, SBC, and BBC have the same bellhousing pattern. The 2 Chevy V8's also shared the same flywheel pattern until 1985. The 85 and newer small block flywheel changed with the addition of the one piece rear seal. The 84 and older V6 may also have been the same but I never looked into it.

Great stuff. I actually measured a BBC head gasket to come up with the bolt pattern for a project I was working on. I was very close with my numbers. Wish I had found this thread before I started though.

How did you miss post number 4?

You were only post number 6, so the total before you posted was 5.

    I have some Mopar drawings

I have both the small and big block Chrysler bellhousing drawings, plus the slant 6.

I also have a really fuzzy photo of an AMC V8 blueprint, but it is readable!

I also have some nice drawings of 4 and 5 cylinder Volkswagen TDI Diesels.

PM me your email address and I'll send them to anyone who wants them, I'm not interested it setting up a photo hosting account.

Lastly I'm searching for a BOP Buick/Olds/Pontiac/Cadillac bellhousing bolt pattern drawing.

P.S. I have a spread sheet listing a pattern for the Mercedes OM617 5 cylinder Diesel

I have the GM and Ford V8 patterns on my photo bucket account listed in this post.

Would you, or anyone you know, happen to have the Buick 215/Rover 3.5 bell housing pattern measurements?

    Wink My Two cent's

The BOP And Chev V8 share the same dowel location's and lower holes ,The GM Power book's have some of the V6 and V8 pattern's front and back the worst thing is some are metric and some are inch also the X&Y 0/0 is always somewhere other than the crank shaft center takes a bit of siffering to get there but it's doable as for the ford's small and 460 I think I have print's of as for the FE''390'' that's another hard one the Y block was a concern of mine a while back and that's another hard one to find . If you have the block and a surface plate and highth gage you can map it slow but work's or stand on end in a mill and probe the holes with a dowel pin and use the Digital to map it . some of the manufactures will help but in this day and age customer service at there level is like calling teck suport for anything electronic. archangel I'm not sure that the old 215 buick/old's and the rover have the same bellhousing? and free fuel the chevy flywheel's are semetrical so there a snap as for the AMC it has some stray's in it Response the 3800V6 front wheel drive has the same patern as the 3100V6 and it's in the GM power book I may have it drawn on another P.C. in bobcad and the 4L80 is chevV8 that adapter is avalible from ATI Kevin
