Choppy cuts - mechanical issue - need help

Hey everyone. I inherited this 4x8 k2 CNC. It’s great but I have been getting choppy cuts. I ruled out anything on the computer side and am positive it is mechanical. I tried tightening all the gears to the gear rail. I notice as I move the Y axis it gets harder to move towards one end. Any tips or advice on getting everything moving smoothly and evenly? Gonna try to attach a video. Thanks!

Wouldn’t let me attach a video but here’s a picture of the cut

The cut doesn't look terrible, but if you notice the Y axis is stiff towards one end, it could be due to a faulty alignment of the linear rails. Try loosening one side and see if that helps, then re-tighten with the gantry at the end that was binding.
