I have a cincom l25 with meldas 520 control, serial number V6071, somehow backup parameters on disk got corrupted ,need bit select list and parameter list if anyone could help, any help would greatly be appriciated (machine has a fbal2 led on and showing (y02 0051 003 alarm, EMG PLC)
After spindle drive burned up (and battery died ) drives display AA-AC-AB on power up , checked sh22 cables and they are good , plc data is blank , and plc-sw menu is in japanese but everything else is in english. Replaced mcp board on unit and still no luck

If you are on an L520 with a 600 control you can restore the S ram and para file from the back up and restore function on the control
The y02 51 alarm is a servo problem

If you need these files I do have a copy from another machine

I know this is an old thread, but I have basically the exact same symptoms on an M20. Would sure like to know what the solution was.
