    Circuit Breaker curve type..

The manual of my VFD states to use a 20Amp MCB or MCCB. I have found several online, but they all specify some type of "curve", be it B, C or D.

What type curve would my VFD need in a residential environment?

I normally use D curve breakers with VFDs. They have a bit longer before-trip time on overload. VFDs draw an incredible amount of current on power up for a fraction of a second. On a normal home circuit, there is enough wire resistance to mitigate the inrush current, so it's not a problem.

Does it have to be MCCB or will any 2-pole 20A D Curve breaker do?

If this is going in an electrical panel then this is the one I would buy. https://www.automationdirect.com/adc...)/FAZ-D20-2-NA

If you need some other parts, and are able to get the order over $49, then you get free 2 day shipping.
