Core components
Laser cutting machine is composed of laser generator, beam transmission module, workbench, microcomputer numerical control cabinet, cooler, computer and so on.
1) Main machine: the machine part of laser cutting machine, the mechanical part of X, Y and Z axis movement, including the cutting working platform.Used for positioning the workpiece to be cut, and for correct and accurate movement of the workpiece according to the control program, usually driven by servo motor.

2) Laser generator: A device for generating laser light source.In terms of laser cutting, except for YAG solid laser used in a few occasions, CO2 gas laser with high electro-optical conversion efficiency and high power output is mostly used.Because laser cutting requires high beam quality, not all lasers can be used for cutting.Gaussian mode is suitable for multi-mode with CARBON dioxide laser less than 1500W, low-order mode 100W-3000W and greater than 3000W.

3) External light path: Use a refracted mirror to guide the laser into the desired direction.To prevent beam path failure, all mirrors should be protected with a protective cover and a clean positive pressure shielding gas to protect the lens from contamination.A good set of lenses can focus a beam of light with no Angle of divergence to an infinitesimal point.A focal length of 5.0 inches is usually used, and a 7.5 inch lens is only suitable for 12 mm thick materials.

4) NUMERICAL control system: Control the machine tool to realize the movement of X, Y and Z axes and control the output power of the laser.

5) Stabilized power supply: Connect laser, CNC machine tool and power supply system.It mainly plays a role in preventing interference from external power grid.

6) Cutting head: It mainly includes the cavity, focusing mirror seat, focusing mirror, capacitance sensor, auxiliary gas nozzle, etc. The driving device of cutting head drives the cutting head to move along the Z-axis according to the program.It is composed of servo motor, screw, gear and other transmission parts.

7) Workbench: used to control the working process of the whole cutting device.

8) Chiller: Used to cool laser generator.Laser is a device that converts electric energy into light energy. For example, the conversion rate of carbon dioxide gas laser is generally 20%, which converts the remaining energy into heat energy.Cooling water takes away the excess heat and keeps the laser generator working normally.The machine can also cool the external optical path mirror and focusing mirror of the machine tool to ensure the stable beam transmission quality and effectively prevent the lens from deforming or cracking due to excessive temperature.
9) Gas cylinders: include working medium gas cylinders and auxiliary gas cylinders of laser cutting machine, supplement industrial gas of laser oscillation, and supply auxiliary gas of cutting head.

10) Air compressor and air storage tank: supply and store compressed air.

11) Air-cooled dryer and filter screen: it is used to provide clean dry air for laser generator and beam path, so as to ensure the normal operation of beam path and reflection surface.

12) Air extraction and dust removal machine: extract and filter the smoke and dust generated in the processing process to make the waste gas emission meet the environmental protection standards.

13) Slag eliminator: remove the leftover material and waste material produced in the processing process.
