    Doosan Lynx 2100LSYA thermal accuracy

Guys when you turn machine on at the morning (after some warm up program ofc) how much difference in diameter are you getting at what time? We have about .0014" for first two hours of running it and it's quite frustrating to be honest. How much it should be at those? From the data of this machine, it stands that it should be at about .0004".

Re: Doosan Lynx 2100LSYA thermal accuracy

Changes in singular axis positioning from cold to warm to hot are 1 of 2 things:

Good when cold bad when warm is an incorrectly tensioned "Thermal growth compensation" amount (mechanical)

Bad when cold, good when warm is an attempt at electrically compensating...but it unfortunately only flips the error (attempted electrical fix to a mechanical problem...requires unfixing the electrical change, and fixing the mechanical one)
