    emi-mec auto turn

    read some old post about emi-mec [autoturn] lathes .i still have 2 left out of 6 .and lots of spare parts and some multi-bore collets for the 4s 2" machine and lots of boards .for sale the sprint 32 and the 2e are down and cant find anybody to fix .world wide did ,before going out of bussiness at the tune of 1000.00 day plus parts.
    just thought somebody out there has some and we could talk about them
    bought my first one in ca. back in 73 or 74 .they can be a headache for sure .

    I just came across your post while looking for something else. I know it is old, but if you are still looking for assistance, I may be able to help. I worked for World Wide in the '80s as service manager, and did a lot of playing around. I even designed a CNC retrofit of the 4S Autoturn. It was even on display at the MACH machine tool exhibition in the UK.
