I'm a beginner working with a Hitachi Seiki VA45 that uses FANUC 11M control, and I’m trying to use the G31 skip function for probing.

I recently purchased a GP-800 touch probe, assuming the machine supported probing functions. Both the probe and the VA45 are currently functioning correctly.

However, when I run G31 (e.g., G31 Z-1.0 F50), the machine triggers PS010, which suggests that G31 is not even recognized by the control.

It turns out the previous operator didn’t fully understand the available control options, and from what I can tell, this machine likely came with very few (if any) optional features enabled.

I suspect G31 is disabled through some 9*** parameter lockout, but there’s no documentation I can find about which one.

If anyone knows which 9*** parameters control the availability of G31 on FANUC 11M, I’d be extremely grateful.

Also, if you know about enabling G10, G37, or extended skip functions like G31.1, G31.2, G31.3, that would be very helpful as well.
