Hello everyone, I need to edit the ladder in Fanuc 16M System with PMC-RC. In which there is no card slot. Pl help me how to download the ladder from CNC to PC thru ladder Prog tool.

That must be a 16MA, which didn't have a pcmcia slot. The ladder is stored on the ROM card in EPROMS, which means that the ladder cannot be edited without special equipment.

if is 16 modle A ,indeed there is no memeory card slot on the CNC but you can connect to the PMC using F-LADDER III and RS232 connection with cable
the menu in the CNC for connecting is the ONLINE MONITOR .
In the F-LADDER III you can connect to the CNC and see the ladder and you can modify it online
afetr you modify it ,you must SAVE IT TO F-ROM by the function

afaik, the 16A has the ladder stored in eprom, NOT flash.

as far as i know ,the servo and software is in a EPROM,the PMC is stored in PMC module like for example this 1 A20B-2900-0142 that is for a 16-A mainboard
i am not 100% sure but if have the online monitor function available,you can use it
the final step could be to output the ladder by RS232,convert it with F-LADDER from handy file to ladder file,change it what you want and compile it back and downlaod it to cnc again
i think there is a way to edit it still in 16-A
if i will get hands on one these days i will make a tutorial

Zavateandu you can take ladder in text file by using winpcin software. Then text convert to .#ex file. Fladder ii decomplie .#ex file edit it, then compile it.
