    G81/G83 can cycles on 0T

Is it possible to use G81/G83 can cycles on 0T? We cannot seem to figure this out. Machine is a Hardinge Conquest lathe. Parameter change?

I run an 0TA control on a SZIM lathe. As lshingleton mentioned, you'll want to use G74.

    You may find this handy:

How old is the machine? older machine probably not have it at all.
The best way to learn is trial error.

I'm posting this message as a CNCZone Moderator.

I, and several other Moderators, are not aware of a rule that says "option parameters" can not be posted in CNCZone threads. We would welcome a link to such a rule, or further explanation.

    Oh-oh
You cannot fathom the can-of-worms you have just opened
Hope your pockets have lots of cash to pay the suits from FANUC for allowing propriety info to be displayed on a public forum
You may as well say its OK to allow ppl to put up pirate software links for CAD or CAM wannabes

I suggest the "Moderators" take a refresher at their rules & regs.
