Hello,

I am wondering if anyone here is familiar with calibrating the tool probe on a Doosan lathe?

The machine is a Doosan Lynx 220L equiped with the Q setter.

After probing tools the machine cuts approx .016" different than it is commanded to. I have re-calibrated the tool probe on HAAS lathes many times but can not seem to figure out which parameters or settings to change on the Lynx to correct this error.

When the machine was new everything cut fine within .0005" after probing, so the arm has ovbiously been bumped.

A walk through would be greatly appreciated.

What control is fitted to the machine?

I am not 100% sure on the control but the instructions I found and had success with says that it is for machines with the following controls:

FANUC 16T, 18T, 21T, or 0-i

Everything ended up working, here is a list of the parameters where the adjustments were made:

X O.D. contact - parameter 5016
X I.D. contact - parameter 5015
Z right side contact - parameter 5018
Z left side contact - parameter 5017
