    How to fix Broken Chains

The attached .dxf shows a piece I'm working on and have been able to cut all nicely except what I have marked as Area1,2,3. The reason is that the chains in each area are not connected (broken is some curves) and when I try to connect the 2 broken ends I get the message "these lines cant be connected.

Is there any other command in McX5 which will allow me to fix these chains?

    Thank you
    Nicolas

Extend their lengths to overlap, and then trim back

Problem with splines is they generate lots of point-to-point moves in the gcode file.

There are ways to convert to arcs, if you wish. It is a bit of learning curve (excuse the pun)
