I have a Huanyang 2.2kw. It has a top mounted fan. It blowing air upwards drawing it out of the case but i'm wondering if its wired wrongly and is supposed to blow air down into the case and across the fins as it does in in my 3kw Huanyang.

Which is the correct orientation?

Basic thermodynamics' it is better to draw the air up and out, but as you say they could have it either way, depending on the design, it will trip a fault if it over heats so not much to worry about
