    Huanyang HY01D511B - PD142 Motor Current setting

    Hi all,

    Recently received the Huanyang HY01D511B 110V - 1.5KW VFD. It is paired with a 110V/1.5KW/24000RPM 80mm spindle.

    I have everything setup, spindle spins just fine - even got it working w/ my controls so Mach4 can control it.

    One thing I can't figure out is PD142 Motor Rated Current - I can't set this to any value greater than 7.0A. Doesn't it need to be 13A? Also confusing is PD174 reads 7.0A - even though it clearly states in the manual it's 13A.

    What am I doing wrong? I've searched pretty extensively on the subject, I can't figure out why I can't increase the value of PD142.

    Any ideas?

    EDIT: Am dumb. Forgot about sqrt(3) in the 3PH motor current calculations. 1500w = (120V * I * 1.0PF * 1.732)....solving for I here = 7.27A. All good! I'll leave this here for anyone that has the same issue in the future.
