Hi,

I have a Hurco VM2 machine manufactured in 2003.

The inverter was Yaskawa Varispeed 626 MC5 but it had problems with the power circuit.

The inverter is now changed with another brand and I can drive the spindle.

The encoder is on the motor itself, no encoder at the spindle.

The problem is with the spindle orientation. I get the digital output from Hurco computer to orient the spindle. This signal goes to a digital input on the new inverter. In the inverter I have set an amount of pulse for orientation, it works in manual mode (run inverter and set orientation input) but when hurco sends the orientation signal it does not not send the run signal. After some time I get spindle orientation error.

Does anyone know how does the orinetation procedure work?

Best Regards
