Invalid G02 or G03 due to radius

    Hello,

I am struggling to figure out why I cannot change the radius in my program. I am trying to change the radius to 8 but I keep getting an invalid G03. Any help is greatly appreciated. The code is listed below. %

The line with U0.04 W-0.04 is a retract clearance? Can't make this move in G2/G3. Change to G1.

You are trying to make a 10.0988" radius on this small part and want to change it to 8"

    Please clarify

Re: Invalid G02 or G03 due to radius

i would also add to turning guy that by just changing the 10.0988 to 8.000 would not make the correct profile of the radius
starting and ending points would have to modified to get the correct profile

Ok but rcs60 is correct, you need to recalculate your intersection points also.
