Angry Just my avoid Arizona CNC experiance

So its been a while maybe a yea ago id have to check dates i was going on a trip for a month and contacted Dave to have a kit for my pm-30 if it was it would still take 4 weeks so it would be ready by time i returned. he advised me it would only take about 2 weeks and i said great and placed my order. upon returning 30 days later from my trip i had no update and contacted him again was advised that it was done and would be shipped out the end of the week. needless to say this went on for about 5-6 months and numerous contacts to the point of saying id file it with my card company if not shipped. apparently he had taking alot of orders for another machine and was working on them while waiting on parts i dont remember exactly.

So fast forward to getting parts, for the most part it was ok but way outside tolerances they he specified on listing. for example my z is .0014 thats great. x is .0029 ok y is .0068. during the build i had many issues with fitment on the y axis. the holes were not drilled in the right spot causing the ball screw to bind when it got close to the end causing motor faults because it wouldnt turn any more. the whole y axis is horrible. to give an example the whole y is at an angle. the center block that connects to gaunty is to short, and or the holes on motor mount are to high causing this thing to ride up and down hill during movement, is this the cause of the runout? im not sure. ive contacted him multiple times with this issue and although he does give me things that it could be he never once wants to admit it could be something wrong with his product. thus i am still left with a horrible situation ive spent months trying to correct.

at the end of the day i think he just took on more work than he could manage and rushed threw them without quality checking and i the customer got screwed in the end because it doesnt want to replace this defect part so i can have a reliable cnc.

why am i writing this now. ive givin him plenty of chances to fix this error and i have spent more time taking apart and rebuilding this mill than i have using it. i have just redone it again in hopes for the 10th time that its not a defect part and just me. but i already know thats not the case. so i would avoid this vendor although after dealing with this for forever i would still like for him to make it right with the correct y axies needed for my machine. but from my previous conversations i dont see that happening but if i make my experience public maybe he will.

it doesn't look like there is an edit button on this side but to give an example of how bad the hole alignment was on the y axis i actually had to take a belt grinder to the top of the mounting bracket and take about 3/16 off the top just to keep the gantry from slamming into it. Of course this this didnt matter and was told to redrill holes or something. this is suppose to be a plug and play .001 tolerance cnc kit.
