Hi,

I have a Kia KT21, 1994, with a Yasnac LX3 control.

When I press "SELECT" + "FOR" or use the command M3 to turn on the spindle in work grip "EXT" mode, I get the alarm message "AL-25 Chuck closed not detected".

Parameter #1000 in the diagnosis screen is 00100000 (hex 20). No matter the chuck is closed or opened.

When I switch to work grip "INT" the machine works like expected. The work grip key switch seems to work. The selected mode is represented correctly in parameter #1037. The LEDs of the sensor on the draw tube show the status of the chuck correctly.

Has someone an idea what I could do to fix that issue?

Typically when you switch from External to Internal chucking, the prox switches on your actuator are switched as well. This usually requires adjusting them since the actuator piston and attached dog are no longer stopping in the same position. I believe a simple adjustment of the prox switches will cure the issue.

The sensor was slightly misaligned and additionally the connector was not connected properly
