We have started our brand new 2 KW Hugong laser cut machine this week. So far so good.

However, our seller has strongly advised us against network connection of the windows machine. He claims (actually the technical guy says so) that he´s had issues -loss of parameters, machine stop, etc- when trying to do it and many other customers who have tried before have gone back to disconnecting their machines from the local network.

He says that many of these issues are caused by windows updates, but this seems quite easy to solve.

So, what can you tell me about it ? I have the USB solution on a day by day working basis.
