I'm looking at using EL7 drives in a VMC retrofit. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find many remarks online about the product. Just wondering if any of you have had experience with them?

Reasons I'm considering them:
They're available in 380V 3ph
The documentation and software seems decent enough
Wide range of matching motors
Pricing direct from Leadshine is fair

I'll be running them in velocity mode from an analog +-10v signal (via mesa card/linuxcnc) and closing the position loop via Linuxcnc. For this, they will need to output a realtime encoder signal, with no latency. Any experience here?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
