    Mass tool offset

I'm here hoping someone can help. Is there any way of changing all your tool lengths at once without doing each tool individually. Trying to compensate for matching growth on a 5 axis with 28 tools

    TIA

if your tools don't leave to holders between jobs then once your tools are qualified and documented you can add g10 at the header of the program for each tool .

An alternative if your using the gage line method -- preset your tools with the external tool setter , document the tools and create a program or edit into your program once again with g10's . It's a pita but it can be done while another job is running and will minimize down time

Otherwise I can't see any way of qualifying all the tools in one shot if they are being qualified in the machine , they'll have to be qualified individually

You can add / subtract the Z length of all tools by changing the work offset Z value. (IE: G55 Z value from say 0 To +.005 or -.005)
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)

It won't work for 5axes movbement control.
U can download offsets to computer (it's simple txt file), add values in eg excel, and upload file back to machine.

I was thinking a completely different thing when I posted lol . The above makes the most sense for editing them all together
