    MGP Pendant issue MK3+TNGv2

    Hello,
This is a issue i first got about some years ago and due to no time and little use of the CNC have not been addressed before now.
The issue happend after upgrading to a newer version of TNG in January 2018. not sure but when i press the button on the pendant and rotate the wheel the selected axis is only jogging back and forth.
Not moving any way. I have added a video here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uPTHUqtOQ4Y

    i have the following setup.

    • MPG pendant with adapter Item# MPG
    • CNC USB controller Mk3 Item# MK3
    • Adapter for MPG pendant Item# ADMPG
    • USB cable - double shielded Item# USB

Could anyone point me i the correct direction to fix this? i will upload the setup in 5-10min max

    Thanks, best regards

    Pendant is in step mode.
    Check Settings/Jogging/Handwheel page.

    Hi
I have tried now without stepmode. Its acting different but it still jogs back and forth when i move to the pendant in one direction.

Is there a way to record the impulses to analyse the signal from the pendant?

I hope that you have fixed the problem by now, but the symptoms suggest that you have lost one of the two signals from the MPG. The MPG generates X and Y pulses; with just one of these the software can detect MPG movement but not direction and the effect is exactly what you are seeing.
