My Miyano started giving a 410 code whenever we would try to move the X axis. The Y and Z are fine. I checked the cables and motor with a Megger and they appear to be OK. I do not get an overcurrent LED when it throws the code.
I was told to turn the ball screw by hand to see if it is free. My problem is the table is over the motor cover and I cannot get the cover off so I cannot disconnect the coupling between the motor and the ball screw. The other end of the ball screw is available but it does not want to move. With the power off should I be able to turn the ball screw? Or is there a brake inside the motor that prevents that from happening? Should I be able to push the table with the power off and have it move? I do not know how to get the table off if I cannot release the X axis motor from the ball screw.

Any thoughts or ideas will be more than welcome!
