    Talking Modified Fusion 360 Post for the Tormach Rapid Turn

    Hi Guys-

    Attached is the current Fusion 360/Slant Bed Lathe post that I modified for use on the Tormach Rapid Turn.

    Essentially I changed the code that would force it to use negative X values. Works fine here, but use at your own risk :-).

    Thanks. One issue I found is that when using the turning thread op that the canned cycle (G76) used the wrong direction now for thread depth. Maybe it's better to use the standard Slant Bed post and just flip the X direction in the Fusion 360 Cam setup?

    Re: Modified Fusion 360 Post for the Tormach Rapid Turn

    I am not sure if this thread is still alive but I am running out of options.
    I built my own rapidturn, conversational works fine but the posted files from Fusion are messed up.
    I have tried different post processors, none of them works 100%
    The file seems fine but it looks like it mess up radius/diameter because all the files I post have the curves at half the radius distance. (if that makes sense)
    I just tried the post processor posted here and this one posts the correct diameter but the radius is the wrong way. (see picture)
    Can anyone help me out here, I am out of ideas.

    You can easily change the I direction by editing this post and changing line 1821 to

    var iVal = ( driveLine - threadCrest ) * -2;

    The function _calcThreadPasses seems very complicated. Does anyone know how it is trying to calculate the J value?
