Hello everyone,
I have a 1992 fanuc drillmate c model 10 with an O-M controller. Operator recently ran drill thru a metal paint scraper and it bounced around trapped between the part on the fixture and the drill. The machine was emergency stopped and reset. Immediately the tool carousel started making a loud noise when it changed tools. 1 day later the tools started dropping out of the head. This machine has no air or hydrolic to change tools it works mechanically. I have no errors or alarms the tools just fall out when the head comes down to grab it then i get a 1006 tool alarm because there is no tool in the spindle. I used m19 to orient the spindle and that is definitely lined up with the y axis. So I am trying to take apart the head but I can't figure out how to get it apart. Fanuc said the machine is too old and they don't have files for how it's put together. Also called methods and they can't help either. If anyone has any drawings of this machine spindle assemble I would be very grateful. Or ideas how to take it apart . Thank you in advance if anybody has any suggestions.
