Need Help - Hardinge Conquest T42-L can cycle question for post processor development

We are currently trying to get a post processor for our Hardinge Conquest T42-L with Fanuc 18t controller and everytime it gets to the can cycle G83 it throws an alarm "010 improper g-code". I read somewhere that the can cycles could be turned off. How could I find out if the can cycles have been turned off. Any help would be greatly appreciated

A typical G83 command might look like this:
    G83 X10 Y10 Z-20 R1 Q5 F100
If there’s any issue with how you’re inputting these parameters, that could also trigger the alarm.

I was able to find a document that listed the canned cycles for drilling at parameter 9929 bit 3 and ours is off. How do i get that turned on legally. Is that something you can call Fanuc out and they can turn it on for a fee?
