NEF Plus 500/710 – Issue with Z-axis referencing after battery loss

I have a NEF Plus 500/710 lathe with a GRUNDIG Manual Plus VME control system. Unfortunately, the battery ran out and all parameters were lost. I re-entered the parameters manually, and now the machine can reference the X-axis, but the Z-axis won’t reference at all. However, both axes can still move manually without any problem. What could be the cause, and how can I fix it? Thank you very much.
