I stumbled on this about 6 months ago and dove in. I was sold on it immediately. Automatic tool changing for wood and metal CNCs for a tiny fraction of the cost of full blown air activated systems. It really works and is available now. There are hundreds of them in use around the world already, most having found it by YouTube videos or the Discord tech site.

I've become friends with the developer/owner of the company. This is up and running on my 4x8 retirement CNC router. Video attached.

The extending table and lifting dust skirt in the video are my own additions. The ATC system comes from Don at Rapidchange ATC ready to tie into your CNC. You'll have to do some reading on his website to learn more about this system and the controls that it currently works with.
