Hello!
I use an IMA BIMA Quadroform C80/280 with a NUM 1060 control. I am currently trying to find out what options I have with the machine via RS232.
On the one hand, I would like to load programs via RS232 in dripfeed mode. I have tried to connect a USB serial interface to the UC S11 COM 1 port and load the current program. However, despite various peripheral settings (under Utils), I was unable to receive any bits on the laptop. Unfortunately I don't have the official software from NUM, but a normal serial monitor should already give an output?
I would also like to query status information from the CNC via UNI-TELWAY and also control some functions via this. Can I use the protocol via RS232? Has anyone already done this? Which software should I use to do this? I know that I have to make the appropriate settings in the machine parameters P110 and P111. However, I do not have the UNI-TELWAY instructions from NUM. I have at least found a Github repository for this:

In general, I am very pleased to be able to exchange information about NUM 1060 and IMA machines. We have now integrated our IMA BIMA Quadroform into the network and written our own postprocessor. However, there are also many open questions that I would like to discuss with you. Just send me an e-mail!
