Okuma lb 15 osp 5000L-G Paramter Floppy disk information

    Hello,
we have cloned the old 16 inch floppy disk with parameters in it from ocuma lb 15 osp 5000-LG, we can't open floppy with windows, because it has different partition in it. So the question is maybe someone know how to look the information in it. We want to type parameters manually to the machine, because there is no way to get the 16 inch floppy drive to plug to the machine to load the software.

You should have a data management card in the back of your machine that lists the machine coordinate data for your machine. Once that is entered I can provide you with the Long Word, Word, and BIT defaults.

Your 8” floppy is in Okuma format and is encrypted so you will not be able to extract the info.

Also check to see if you have the DATA PIP function on your machine. If you do then you may be able to transmit the data into or out of your machine by RS 232.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

You must have specific software in windows or you can put it to your machine and use command to view file in your disk

Go to Edit mode and press EXTEND several times to see if the DATA-PIP button shows up. Or else check the Management Data card to see if the option is on your machine.

    or, try key in
    DPIP
    or
    DATA-PIP
following with <Enter> or <Write> key. The system reaction will indicate if the command is recognised or not.
