    Okuma LB15 SDU Alarm 110

    Hi All,
After some technical help with some fault finding on this alarm.

SDU Alarm on Okuma LB15 it has fanuc drive
    AC Spindle Drive A06B-6044-H018

    Fault code NUMBERS 1 2 8
Book indicates Voltage at the DC capacitor has risen abnormally
Voltages measure on the circuit board were all ok except the +24 volt which showed 27.8 volts ??
    All fuses are ok

I have turned the machine off a few times with rest periods with rest periods in-between but still the error comes up when the computer comes on.

Where to next any ideas ??
    Any help would be great
    Thanks in advanced

Re: Okuma LB15 SDU Alarm 110

    Further to this for infor,

Left the machine sit for the last few days , fired it up and now its alive again.
Measured the volts at the boards test point and the 24V pin is now indicating only 25.7 as apposed to 27.8 before.

So would it be right to say that one of the capators have drained over the last few days which has helped ?

If so why would the voltage read higher ?? any components that normally fail on these ??

    Thoughts ???
